New York City based director Sara Marandi creates worlds of glamour with attention to detail at the highest level. She started her professional career creating teasers and title sequences for major Hollywood studios. Later she studied graphic design and photography at the Art Center College of Design. During this time she first became interested in 3D animation. Sara Marandi moved to New York where she made a name for herself as a commercials director.

Today, Sara Marandi is one of the world’s foremost beauty and design directors. She is well known for her fresh and modern work that invokes an inspiring mood and youthful spirit. The talented director has worked for major beauty and lifestyle brands such as L’Oreal, Crest, Pantene, Dove, Roc, Nexxus, Schwarzkopf, Avon and Goody. In addition to the commissioned projects, Sara Marandi is working on self initiated projects.

Sara Marandi’s self-funded short film, “Diary of a Girl”, shot in Bangkok, visually expresses the story of a traveler in a strange land.
