Have a look at this alternative graphic design and brand proposal created by studio Graphéine for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Back in 2019, French graphic design studio Graphéine took up the challenge to create a unique branding proposal for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Unfortunately, their proposal was not selected but as Pierre de Coubertin said, “The most important thing is to participate!” Read more below the following image.

Graphéine’s team had only 3 weeks from brainstorming to the final pitch. The logo concept clearly refers to the Eiffel Tower and sports tracks. In addition, an alternative logo version was made for the Paralympic games.

“The two logos are from the same shape. A simple change of angle of view makes it possible to switch from the logo of the Olympic Games to that of the Paralympic Games. This symbolic rapprochement between the two logos is a strong gesture that can act as a bridge between the world of able-bodied athletes and that of athletes with disabilities.”
