Since his early days, Daniel Kordan is fascinated by the various possibilities of photography. He grew up near Moscow in a natural region with numerous lakes and wildlife. As a child, he spent most of his time outside exploring the nature. Despite his love for nature, Daniel Kordan decided to study at Institute of Physics and Technology. But there was always this passion for the outdoors, pathless woods and fascinating mountainscapes.

Besides his studies at Institute of Physics and Technology, Daniel Kordan gained experience in climbing and hiking. He also started to work as a guide for tourists. Later he organized photo workshops and he started to work as chief editor at an outdoor magazine called ‘Continent expedition’.

Daniel Kordan’s shots of northern landscapes are particularly fascinating! Here you can see a small selection. The photographer has captured the incredible beauty of these cold regions. The images have been taken in Norway at Lofoten islands as well as Russia and Canada.
