Light On – expressive photos of New York City.
Franck Bohbot is a New York City based photographer and visual artist who was born in France in 1980. He received a MBA degree in film production at the ESG-Paris in 2006. His creative work is mostly influenced by painters and cinematographers as well as different German and American photographers. Franck Bohbot’s artistic research is focused on public spaces and the urban way of life. Below you can see some images of his series “Light On”. The series includes expressive New York City photos taken in 2013 and 2014. The photographer captured different authentic places, which reflect the lifestyle of the city. Caused by skillful color manipulations, the images convey a nostalgic feel. They seem to take the viewer back in the good old days of New York City.
