Surreal melancholic drawings by Korean artist, Daehyun Kim.
Back in 2012, I already featured some of Daehyun Kim’s surreal black and white illustrations on WE AND THE COLOR. Much time has passed and today I want to present you more of his dreamlike artworks. His melancholic drawings depict feelings we all know. The artist visualizes emotions, feelings, and conditions such as loneliness, transience, sorrow or love.
Daehyun Kim was born in Seoul in 1980, where he still lives and works. The images below are part of his Moonassi series, which he calls as a life-time project.
