Mecanoo’s Architecture Turned Into Visual Patterns

Patterns in Architecture - Giuseppe Gallo presents a serie of posters inspired by Mecanoo's architectural projects.

A pattern poster series created by Giuseppe Gallo as a tribute to the work of Mecanoo Architects.

Giuseppe Gallo is a graphic designer and creative director of Mirabilia, a communication design studio located in Palermo, Italy.

He recently developed a collection of nine posters to illustrate the use of patterns as an architectural design element. To do that, he transformed different famous buildings by Mecanoo Architects into visual patterns. With this series, Giuseppe Gallo wants to show us the relationship between Architecture and Graphic Design. Even with different purpose, they share lots of approaches and instruments.

You can download the whole collection for free as high resolution PDF files on: www.mirabiliaweb.net
