“Kaktus im Weltraum”, an analog motion design project by Robin Albrecht that deals with moving titles as well as changing forms and structures.

Robin Albrecht is a freelance motion Designer based in Stuttgart, Germany. He is not only experienced in the creation of digitally produced animations and visualizations. In addition, he likes to play with analog materials in order to achieve unique effects.

Robin Albrecht’s experimental motion design project “Kaktus im Weltraum” explores various animations of letters and titles, which were produced entirely in an analogous manner. All the changing forms and structures were created with real materials. They were changed, transformed, and moved under certain experimental processes. Robin Albrecht has not created these animations using the stop-motion process. He only filmed real motion sequences. Below you can see some stills and the finale video as well as a documentation.
