The Fazeta font family, a modern and static Antiqua typeface.
Slovakian type designer Andrej Dieneš, has created the Fazeta font family for Adtypo Foundry in 2014/2015. It’s a modern and static Antiqua that uses optical sections. It has no obliqued axis and all serifs are designed without slopes. Fazeta’s typeface is characterized by a rational construction and sharp edges. Another characteristic features of this family are a short arch of glyph “f” and the slightly expanded vertical strokes.
Fazeta includes a list of alternative glyphs for the letters a, c, f, j, k, r, y, K, R. The font family is divided into 3 optical variants: Caption (a sturdy geometry with low contrast, suitable for size 6 – 9 pt), Text (medium contrast, suitable for normal text about 10 pt), and Display (high contrast and discreet details for 20 pt font sizes and higher).
Each variant comes with 5 weights ranging from Light to Black plus matching Italics for each weight. Due to its 3 versions, the typeface is suitable for a wide variety of applications. You can use it for both striking headlines and all sizes of text. The crisp details of the Fazeta typeface look great on glossy white paper.
In addition, the family is equipped with numerous digits, fractions, indexes, matematical symbols, arrows, and borders.
