Studio Forth + Back just shared with us their newest project called ‘Dreams of New York’. In short, Dreams of New York is a coffee table book and website comprising photographs of NYC that have been taken through Google Earth over the last three years. They printed a small run of books, which are already sold out. However, they are currently in talks with a variety of publishers with the intention of getting them mass-produced. The project evolved out of an ongoing love affair with NYC. By wandering through the streets via Google Earth, the people of studio Forth + Back eventually started to document the kind of strange frozen images of life. The project is a dream-like documentation of the streets and residents of New York City. The project has culminated into a 200-page coffee table book, as well as a website showcasing a selection of images.
