Graphic design as well as packaging and brand development created as student project by Vinicius Andrade for Brava Origem.
Vinicius Andrade, a Porto Alegre, Brazil based graphic designer has recently create a sophisticated brand identity concept for Brava Origem, a quite alternative manufacture of chocolates. Under the concept of bean to bar, the company is taking advantage of the best Brazilian cacao for the production of their tasty chocolates. Most people don’t know that a cocoa of particularly good quality grows wild in the Amazon forest, which is well suited for the production of those outstanding chocolates.
To give the brand a unique visual experience, Vinicius Andrade used a special “ink on water” technique to create a series abstract illustrations that highlight the geographic origin on the packaging. The project has been developed to complete the Graphic Design Bachelor’s Degree at the Federal University of Pelotas. Feel free to see some images below.
