Industrial designer Gaël Wuithier has created this stylish pendant for Woodlabo, a manufacturer and editor of high-end wooden lights. Woodlabo’s design solutions are a tribute to NASA’s spirit of discovery in the 1960s.
This beautiful pendant design by Gaël Wuithier draws inspiration from the distinctive shape of the command module of the Apollo 8 mission in 1968. Gaël Wuithier has reinterpreted the conical shape of the Apollo 8 Command Module with a branched wooden structure. The wooden slats are assembled at the ends by 2 aluminium discs.
