Zaha Hadid – 520 W 28th

Strategy, naming, branding, and tone of voice by Mother Design for Zaha Hadid’s first permanent building in New York City, 520 West 28th.

Mother Design had the honorable task to develop a sophisticated brand strategy for Zaha Hadid’s first permanent building in New York City, 520 West 28th. Their work included a complete concept including naming, branding, and tone of voice for this unique residential project by the recently deceased Iraqi architect, Zaha Hadid. As a tribute to this visionary architect, they decided to name this luxurious residential building after her. The complete system of collateral has been designed in an elegant but yet restrained look and feel. Mother Design’s creative team developed a residence book, a limited edition artist monograph, and a first teaser site as well as the permanent website. Read more below.

It provides detailed insights into Zaha Hadid’s outstanding architectural work. The residence book describes the diverse features and high class interior of each residence. The full body of promotional and sales materials also includes a mini portfolio of Hadid’s past work as well as an interactive table with dynamic content and an animated film narrated by Zaha Hadid.
