Trina Merry – Body Painting

Images from live body painting performances by Trina Merry.

Born in 1980 in Seattle, WA, Trina Merry is an American artist who currently lives in New York City. She uses guerrilla tactics to create live body paintings on the streets to create illusions of people that seemingly merge with the environment. After first projects within the US, Trina Merry has expanded her “camoflague series” internationally, including England, Italy, and at the UNESCO Seven Wonders of the World. She uses photography to document her temporary paintings. A wide range of artworks could be seen at the Watermill Center, Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, California Academy of Sciences, San Jose Museum of Art, ESMoA, and many more locations. Below you can find a handpicked selection of images taken from various series.
