A pattern based visual identity for TextielMuseum & TextielLab.
In addition to exhibitions on textile and design at the TextielMuseum, the TextielLab develops different textile projects with contemporary designers and artists.
The creative team of Raw Color, a Dutch design studio was commissioned to create a uniform visual identity for both TextielMuseum and TextielLab, while visualizing the combination of these two characters of the institution. The logo is based on overlapping letters, T + M for TextielMuseum and T + L for the TextielLab. These logos are the basis for a variety of graphic patterns. These patterns are used in different parts of the visual identity such as stationery, packaging, website, etc. Furthermore, the design creates a visual link to textile patterns.
