Elisa Ortiz is a graphic designer and illustrator from Mexico. She has created this beautiful brand identity for Puerta Vieja, a hostel located in the city of San Cristóbal de las Casas. The name refers to the large and heavy medieval door at the back of the building. With numerous common areas as well as a beautiful garden full of hammocks, the hostel encourages its guests to socialize and share their travel experiences.
Elisa Ortiz’ developed a visual vocabulary based on local tradition and a welcoming South American look and feel. She created a range of different branding and communication materials.
