Poster, a font family in three styles based on a Bodonian/Didot typeface.
Spanish type designer Íñigo Jerez of foundry Textaxis has created the Poster font family in 2015, a long awaited enhancement of his popular Poster typeface. Íñigo Jerez has improved this Bodonian/Didot typeface with more styles into a full family consisting of different uprights and italics. The full family includes three styles consisting of Poster (the basic version), Monster (a slightly bolder and wider version), and Display (a version with more contrast and splendor intended for even bigger sizes). All styles are equipped with matching Italic versions.
As the name suggests, this robust but elegant Bodonian/Didot font family is intended for display use on posters or billboards. This serif typeface with its strong contrast gives your headlines a classic touch. The entire family is available on MyFonts as both desktop font and webfont.
