Pincel de Zorro
This illustrated animation is a personal video project created to promote the book Pincel de Zorro, a tale from the Spanish author Sergio A. Sierra in its 2nd edition, published by Ediciones Ondina. The magical and sad story set in Japan is complemented by unique illustrations – hand drawn by Meritxell Ribas using a complex technique called grattage. Every single illustration were camera projected in Cinema 4D and composed in After Effects. The ink-effect was generated with Turbulence 2D from Jawset.
