Mutuo, a visual identity without a unified logo.
Mutuo is the collective of two architects. Their work is characterized by experimental solutions in the diverse fields of architecture and design. They want to create new architectural experiences through chaos and the blend of their different roots.
Monterrey, Mexico based independent design studio Futura was asked to create a visual identity that reflects exactly these experimental approach of Mutuo. Studio Futura come up with a rather unusual design solution, they produced a brand identity without a unified logo. This idea was exactly the right response. They used different abstract shapes and diverse typographic effects to refer to Mutuo’s ever changing architectural design solutions.
