Louis Reith – Dutch Artist

Geometric patterns, collages, and woodwork made by Dutch artist Louis Reith.

In December 2013, I introduced you to Louis Reith and his collage series “Nachttuin“. Almost 3 years have passed and I think it’s time to look at some of his new works. During the last 3 years, Louis Reith has extended his portfolio with a range of new collages and geometric patterns. Using a variety of materials such as found book pages or wooden panels, the Dutch artist transforms images or simple geometric shapes into masterly arrangements. Born in 1983 in Hengelo, NL, Louis Reith has graduated with a BA from the Academy for Art and Industry in Enschede in 2010. Today he lives and works in Amsterdam. During the past years, his exceptional work has been on display at numerous group and solo shows – both nationally and abroad.   1. Thanks for the feature. I really appriciate it. Just a note: It’s not paint but soil I use to obtain the dark parts on the wooden panels.
