Isabelle Beaubien – Visual Artist

Eyes on Canadian artist Isabelle Beaubien.

Isabelle Beaubien was born and raised in Montreal, Canada where she studied Fine Arts at Concordia University. Thereafter she moved to Nice, France to gain her Master’s degree in Contemporary Art at Villa Arson. Today she lives and works in London, UK. Isabelle describes herself as an organized person by nature, but yet an emotional, almost spiritual person in the studio. When her alter ego awakens she experiments with different textures, shapes, and mediums to reach her individual concept of perfection. Find more details below.

‘Pearl drop’ – Abstract artwork by London based artist Isabelle Beaubien.

Isabelle Beaubien, a mixed media artist who wants to trigger excitement and an explosion of emotions.

Inspired by Gerhard Richter’s current artworks, which are scored by a blade, Isabelle Beaubien doesn’t use conventional brushes. Using one or more movements she subtracts paint in vibrant colors with the aim to generate excitement and trigger an explosion of emotions. Her acrylic paintings are often enhanced by resin, which results in an amazing gloss with a sculptured look. Below you can find a fine selection of artworks. If you are curious to see more of Isabelle Beaubien’s work, just visit her website.
