French artist JR has created a large-scale installation in Tecate, Mexico displaying a little child who seems to look over the barrier to the US.

JR is a French artist who’s best known for a varied range of large-scale installations in public places. In the past, he has chosen the pyramid of the Louvre to make it disappear or in anticipation of the 2016 Summer Olympics, JR has create two gigantic athlete installations across the city of Rio de Janeiro. His recent installation has been erected on the Mexican side of the US-Mexico border in Tecate. The nearly 70-ft tall installation shows an image of a 1-year old child who lives in Tecate. Viewed from the side of the US, the artwork creates the illusion of a little child who’s looking over the border fence. Just have a look at the images below. For more, please visit JR’s website or follow him on Twitter and Instagram.
