UK premiere: Ilhwa Kim will showcase a selection of artworks from the infinitely immersive collection “Seeds of the Universe” at The House of Fine Art.

On April 6, 2017, the exhibition is taking place in London at The House of Fine Art. Represented exclusively in the UK by The House of Fine Art, the Korean artist is one of Asia’s rising stars. Her unique work masterfully combines Korean tradition with the abstraction of contemporary art. Some of her artworks can be found in several major museums across the globe. Furthermore, numerous examples of exceptional pieces could be seen in a vast of international shows and art fairs such as Art Miami, Art Paris, Art Central Hong Kong, just to name a few. The show at The House of Fine Art will be hosting 20 of Ilhwa Kim’s latest artworks, giving visitors a chance to really grasp the dedication being put into each one of her artworks. Ilhwa Kim dyes each sheet of paper with thousands of different colors and cuts and rolls the layers of paper to make them into “seeds”. No artwork has the same, shape, look or color. The Korean artist is represented exclusively in the UK by The House of Fine Art. You can find more of her work on her website.
