Heineken – UEFA Champions League animation designed, directed, and produced by Amsterdam based creative production studio PlusOne.
The people at PlusOne love watching a good football match, while having a couple of beers. Therefore, they immediately seized the opportunity when they were asked to create an animated short film for Heineken about the UEFA Champions League.
Goal of the video was to inform business managers about the new global Heineken Champions League Toolkit in a playful and funny way. PlusOne created an animated short film that combines the typical style of the UEFA Champions League with funny illustrations and animations. Different market sectors are presented by diverse character illustrations of popular football players. The story has been written in collaboration with Iris Worldwide.
