Expo Milano 2015 – Global Campaign Proposal

A visual campaign proposal for the Expo Milano 2015.

Art director Luca Frank Guarini, copywriter Samantha Scaloni, and the two graphic designers Lorenzo Piccinini and Giulia Zoavo teamed up to create a global campaign proposal for the Expo Milano 2015.

Expo Milano 2015 is a non-commercial exposition among important topics such as “feeding the planet” as well as “energy for life”. The universal exposition focuses on sustainable technologies, with a main focus on our global community. In order to create a better visual understanding of these themes, the team decided to develop this global campaign proposal as a new synthesis.

Goal was to create a simple visual language that reflects the existing identity of the event as well as appeals to the general public. They came up with an empathic connection between clear statements and simple, illustrative imagery. Everyone should understand that this universal exposition is an important event for each of us. Expo Milano 2015 deals with a perspective that affects every individual and the entire global humanity.
