Einar & Bert – corporate identity, graphic design, and stationery system by Jonas Söder.

Jonas Söder is a Berlin, Germany based freelance graphic designer specializing in the creative fields of branding, typography, and illustration. Last year he was approached to create a suitable corporate identity for Einar & Bert, Germany’s first theater book store. In addition to the overall identity concept, he was asked to design a guidance system for bookshelves and various web and print media. Jonas Söder’s assignment was to create a monogram of the initials ‘E’ and ‘B’ with a high value of brand recognition, which should also serve as a key visual pattern.

During the day, Einar & Bert is a book store with an integrated café, but in the evening it turns into a theater with a daily changing playbill. With over 5000 selected books and professional journals from around the world, Einar & Bert opened its doors as a new venue for literature and art lovers on November the first, 2014 in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg.
