Wow, look at these beautiful illustrations of Australia. Jimmy Gleeson was commissioned by Annabel Trends to create detailed illustrations for the update of a traditional Australian souvenir map. Jimmy Gleeson spent a lot of time on Google Earth and browsed through old high school geography books. The result is simply amazing!
Nice work but you might want to give a little credit to Tamer Koseli who helped pioneer this style. He’s been doing illustrations for Monicle magazing and most certainly inspired this as well.
