Directors Gothic – Extended Type Family.
Directors Gothic was originally handcrafted in the late 1930s by type foundry Lettering Inc. This Art Deco inspired typeface was intended for the use in advertising on billboards, eye catching headlines as well as distinctive brand identities. The font family was expanded more and more over time. Font designer Neil Summerour brought Directors Gothic into our time and added lots of typographic features to the font family. Directors Gothic’s OpenType format includes automatic fractionals, ligatures, ordinals, and a huge range of alternate characters. This beautiful display font also supports multiple languages and is available as both web font as well as desktop font.
