Danh Hien Jewelers – Art Direction, Logo, and Branding by studio Bratus.
The creative team of Bratus, a Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam based agency was asked to create a new sophisticated brand identity for Danh Hien Jewelers. The company specializes in handmade jewelry, working as a family tradition. Already founded in 1950 by Nguyen Van Hien – today the company consists of two stores and one jewelry workshop with about 120 craftsmen. They still produce handcrafted jewelry in a traditional way. Their diamond products are all made under the standard of GIA (Gemological Institute of America).
Studio Bratus was tasked to develop a new logo and brand identity to stand out and show the aspects of luxury and modernity as well as tradition. Especially the new logo takes its inspiration from the shape of a diamond. They transformed it into something new, strange, and unique based on simple graphic symbolism. The range of printed matters combines paper materials with initial natural colors and the production process, mostly by hands and foil embossing.
The creative work included the development of the new logo, all printed matters, and a new website for desktop and mobile devices.
