Chest of Drawers with Ripples.
Interior and furniture designer Edward Johnson wanted to push laminating in a new direction combined with his elegant style, full of clean and fluid forms. The design of the “Ripples” chest of drawers is inspired by the action of something dropping into water and sending concentric ripples outwards. Edward Johnson draped these ripples over the entire cabinet. Each of the 12 drawers sliding out by a slight touch on the front.
This is a remarkable piece of design for people who love furniture inspired by natural shapes.
