Graphic design and visual identity development by studio Graphéine for the French city of Annecy.

Paris based graphic design studio Graphéine was commissioned in 2017 to create a visual identity for the new French city of Annecy. The name “Annecy” conveys a varied range of images resulting from an extraordinary environment on the shores of the lake and mountains. These values of quality of life became the main inspiration for the visual identity. Graphéine has designed a logotype, wich is both modern, simple, and highly legible at the same time. Their aim was to develop a visual identity that lasts as long as possible. Graphéine’s work ranged from the development of an initial concept up to all graphic tasks and the production of a series of stationery and promotional materials.
