Animation by Dominik Grejc for a motion graphics competition, which is part of the Różewicz Open poetry festival.
Dominik Grejc has recently completed this impressive animation. It was done for a motion graphics competition, which is part of an annually organised festival devoted to the life and work of the Różewicz brothers (Polish poets and artists). This year’s event was related to a quotation from one of Tadeusz Różewicz poems, ‘Żart patetyczny’ (‘Pathetic joke’) “I will speak to all who do not read me”.
According to precise studies of Różewicz’s work, Dominik Grejc got a feeling of the entire topic as well as Różewicz’s ways of thinking about the future and the current life. With his studies in mind, Dominik Grejc started to create an animation that shows a dark world of today, enclosed in Różewicz’s pen.
The video was honored with the first prize in the Różewicz Motion Graphics Competition 2014. Music and sound design was done by Sono Sanctus.
